I’m fortunate to have such great parents. Not everyone is granted this wonderful privilege. I wouldn’t be the person I am today had it not been for the love and support of my family. These are just a few of many things I need to thank my mom for:
Thanks for teaching me how to use a spoon (and eat in general) turns out it’s come in handy.
Thanks for changing my poopy diapers. I can’t imagine it was fun.
Thanks for the bedtime stories.
Thanks for patiently enduring the tantrums.
Thanks for taking care of me when I was sick, putting a wet wash cloth on my forehead, and giving me saltine crackers and 7 up (the cure).
Thanks for helping me with my homework.
Thanks for all the advice. Believe it or not, I followed a good deal of it.
Thanks for not killing me when I was an insubordinate teenager.
Thanks for loving me unconditionally even if I didn’t always deserve it.
Thanks for always being there. I don’t know how I will ever return the favor.
There are so many more things I need to thank my mother for. This list obviously doesn’t do justice. If you’ve got a wonderful mother, too, don’t forget to thank her.
